Mother’s day out

Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9 am - 12 pm at Harvest Time Church

Ages: Infants - Pre-K

This childcare program is geared toward stay-at-home moms who are looking for social development opportunities for their toddlers and preschoolers.

While our main focus is to see children develop socially, they will also be provided with learning opportunities while in our care.

Our church’s vision is to be a HOME, and we want to carry that over into our Mother’s Day Out ministry as well. When you leave your child with us, you can rest easy knowing that your child’s caregiver will be guided with this vision:

        Caring with the HEART of a servant;

       Welcoming with OPEN ARMS;

                       On a MISSION to live like

                Jesus and EQUIP each child with a love for learning.

This ministry is available to parents at a reasonable rate due to its cooperative nature. We encourage parents to volunteer once a month in order to share in your child’s experiences here as well as offset the higher tuition rate. Tuition ranges from $75 - $115 per month. There is also an annual registration fee of $50.

Our babies, 0 - 17 months, will be cared for together. They will engage in traditional and Montessori activities as they rapidly develop through the stages of infancy.

Toddlers, 18 months - 2 years, will also be guided through a sequence of Montessori activities. Children in this age group will share their first joys of learning how to play with friends.

The focus for our 2 year old class is language development and practical life skills. These little ones will stay busy as they continue to discover friendships, learn to show empathy for their peers, and even get introduced to the potty.

Our 3 year old preschoolers will have a Sesame Street theme all year long. Through this curriculum they will be introduced to the wonderful world of letter, numbers, shapes, and colors.

The Pre-K kids will have an amazing year as they discover, imagine, and create through an emergent curriculum that they help guide according to their own interests. We will work through Get Set for School letter-writing workbooks to help prepare them to learn in a classroom setting and use Hooked on Phonics resources to master our letter sounds.
